About Our Philanthropic Efforts
From the beginning, the Krewe of House Floats has focused on supporting New Orleans artists and culture bearers impacted by the cancellation of Mardi Gras parades in 2021. This year we are thrilled to be able to partner with the Music and Culture Coalition of New Orleans (MaCCNO) to support existing non-profits that are working with New Orleans culture bearers.
Our 2021 giving campaign raised $15,000 each for Culture Aid NOLA to help fund their twice-weekly food distribution efforts and Grace at the Greenlight’s Meals with Love and Going Home programs, which provide much-needed supplies and assistance to the homeless.
In 2022, our giving campaign will support organizations that preserve and nurture our culture – what makes New Orleans and Mardi Gras so special.
